The Edgeware Adjustable Electric knife sharpener was selected as the winner of the prestigious 2013 Housewares Design Award. The Housewares Design Awards is known as “the Oscars of home design,” and is the premier awards competition focused on the housewares industry. Winners were announced on January 29, 2013 at a ceremony at the New York Marriott Marquis.

The 2013 Housewares Design Awards are presented by HOMEWORLD BUSINESS®, with sponsorship by The Gourmet Housewares Show at NYIGF, Whitford Corporation and Gourmet Insider magazine. Products judged were introduced to the United States market between October 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012. No prototypes were allowed.
The Edgeware Angle Adjust Electric Sharpener is the FIRST adjustable sharpener of its kind. The sharpener has unsurpassed technology that allows the customer to sharpen the knife to the original factory angle. This electric knife sharpener includes two electric sharpening slots with interlocking diamond wheels in the coarse slot and interlocking ceramic wheels in the fine slot.
