Earlier this week the team from Edgeware held a special event in New York we called “School of the Edge.” The event was a private event for editors in the city and gave us an opportunity to get to know them and introduce them to Edgeware.
But most importantly we spent the evening “educating them” on the importance of knife sharpening and why everyone should sharpen their knives. It was a fantastic evening! Thank you so much to all of the editors who attended.
We also must thank the International Culinary Center of New York for providing us with a gorgeous, fantastic location in Soho. The food was incredible. Also a big thank you to the guys from Schmidt Brother Cutlery and our wonderful team at Coaction for helping us with the event.
In 2012 we are really hoping to focus on educating as many as we can about knife sharpening and the importance of a sharp edge. It’s not something meant for only a select few or the professionals. Edgeware has sharpeners that are so simple to use. Simple, not intimidating. ( And there are some new version coming very soon that are truly exceptional!)
So be watching for more School of the Edge events. You can always have a class at home by watching our “How to videos” on You Tube. Let’s get sharpening!
