The Diamond Elite knife sharpener from Edgeware (based in Hot Springs) does some things we weren’t aware a home knife sharpening system could do. First, it sharpens santoku blades, and even more amazing is its serrated blade-sharpening ability.

The hand-held, pull-though sharpener features diamond rods and ceramic stones, nonslip rubber feet, a soft-grip handle and a sliding plastic cover. To operate, insert the knife blade into the preferred sharpening slot at a 90-degree angle, press down and pull the blade through the sharpener. Repeat as needed.
